Tenzin Choedon Tsarong
While new to Jaipur, Tenzin is not new to India; as she grew up in a Tibetan Refugee community in the foothills of the Indian Himalayas. Later settling in Springfield, Virginia, she attended George Mason University where she studied Global Affairs. With a background in human security and community development. Tenzin has spent the past two years in Ecuador with the Peace Corps supporting development initiatives in the education sector. She joins our team as a 2024-2025 American India Foundation Banyan Impact Fellow, and will be helping to scale Bhayli through identifying partnerships with key stakeholders who have a desire to utilize CSR or grant funds to align with Bhayli's climate change and women's livelihood goals.
